Brie & Mary's Wedding in Mount Airy, NC

This past weekend was such a blast! I had the pleasure of photographing Brie and Mary’s wedding, and it was an event to remember. They tied the knot at Mary’s parents’ beautiful, historical house in Mount Airy, NC. The place is being lovingly restored, adding a unique and charming backdrop to the whole day.

The vibe was absolutely joyous. Friends and family came together to celebrate Brie and Mary’s love, and you could feel the happiness in the air. There were so many laughs, a few happy tears, and heartfelt toasts that made the day incredibly special.

As someone who’s part of the LGBTQ+ community, photographing this wedding meant a lot to me. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come, and it’s such a joy to be able to celebrate love in all its forms. Being there with Brie and Mary, seeing them surrounded by so much love and support, was a beautiful reminder of that progress.

Capturing their love story was a real honor, not just professionally, but personally too. I get their journey, and it was so special to witness their joy firsthand. Cheers to Brie and Mary, to love, and to many more happy moments ahead!
